Privacy Notice
AGENTDESKS.SALE operates TextPert and is the data controller for the personal data described here — we decide what is collected and why. This notice explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have.
Data we collect and why
- Account data (email address, sign-in credentials, or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Your content (images you upload, detected text, replacement text, saved style profiles, exports) — to provide the editing service. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
- Usage and technical data (feature usage, error and processing logs, device and browser information, IP address) — to keep the service secure, diagnose faults and improve the product. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in security and product improvement.
- Subscription status (plan, status, renewal date) — to give you access to paid features. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Marketing messages, only if you opt in. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not receive or store your card details. Payment data is collected and processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database and storage, authentication, and the AI text-detection and typography services used to process your images.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
- Authorities, where we are required to disclose by law.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your images to train our own models.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Retention
Account data and your uploaded images, edits and exports are kept while your account is active and for up to 30 days after you delete an item or close your account, so accidental deletions can be recovered. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. Logs are kept for up to 12 months. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may request access to your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict our use of it, receive a portable copy, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent you have given. Email privacy@recreates.world and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your supervisory authority; in the Philippines you may complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, private per-account storage, access controls and database rules that keep each account’s images and edits isolated from other accounts.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to secure the service; these cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies. Our checkout provider sets cookies needed to complete a payment. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
